Getafe boss Luis Garcia thought his side deserved to beat Malaga, whilst Manuel Pellegrini believed his men were more deserved winners.
Alberto Lopo scored a second half goal to give the Azulones a 1-0 win, and the 40-year-old claimed that his team were the better, disagreeing with what Manuel Pellegrini had said.
“It was a balanced game – we deserved to win or draw,” he told a Press conference. “We had clear chances to win the game by a clearer margin, but failed with our last touch.
“It was hard to beat Malaga today, but I have to disagree with Pelegrini - It is his opinion.
“He is a great Coach and what he thinks is fine, but we had our chances to finish the game off and get a second goal.”
Pellegrini meanwhile claimed his team were superior, but insisted he is not worried about the result.
“We were superior to Getafe,” he told a Press conference. “The team played broadly well until the goal, and then we dropped.
“But we are not worried because we are where we want to be in the League.
“Until the Atletico Madrid game, who we lost to in the last minute, we had not lost a match. We're still in three competitions, and we're going to take each game as it comes.”
