Miroslav Djukic believes his side deserved more after their loss, whilst Luis Garcia admitted he didn’t have to motivate the players to come from behind.
A late Angel Lafita was enough to give the Azulones the three points at Coliseum Alfonso Perez, but the Serbian Coach is of the opinion that his men were worth at least a point.
“I leave here with the feeling that the team played well, but could have got more,” he told a Press conference. “We have not taken the points we deserved.
“We lacked control of the ball and need to learn to be more forceful in front of goal, but I think the defeat was unfair.
“I think a draw would have been just.”
Garcia meanwhile, conceded that he didn’t say a thing at the break to inspire his men.
“We talked about not losing the match,” he told a Press conference. “But I could see the players had a rage inside them, so I almost didn't have to talk to them.
“I had full confidence in the players, and they proved me right. They showed a lot of character.”
He also commented on the fact that his entire starting XI was made up of Spanish players.
“I did not know that,” he said. “But I am very happy. The club is committed to creating players eligible for the national team.”
