Jose Luis Mendilibar believes that the 0-0 draw could spur his men on to better things, whilst Manuel Pellegrini thought the point was fair.
Los Rojillos moved off the bottom of the table with the point at home to the Andalusians, and the 51-year-old is of the opinion that the result can kickstart their campaign.
“We played very well,” he told a Press conference. “If we can play like that in every game, we'll be fine.
“It is obvious that our efforts today were worth more than a point, but I know we did everything to win – for whatever reason though, that didn't come.”
He also commented on Kike Sola's disallowed goal in the second minute, which replays showed was wrongly ruled out.
“The only legal goal today was ours,” he said. “But I cannot complain about my team's effort – everyone is busted in the dressing room.”
The Chilean Coach meanwhile thought a point apiece was the correct result, as well as having no bad words for the officials.
“I get the impression that this was a fair draw,” he told a Press conference. “Both teams were well balanced, and there was no real difference between us and them.
“I thought we played against a team that pressed well and caused my lads a lot of problems.
“The referees are always under a lot of pressure, but I don't think they made any really bad decisions.”
