The Welsh international missed the 2-0 weekend La Liga win over Espanyol, due to a hamstring injury, however according to reports in Marca, he took full part in their recovery session at Valdebebbas.

Zidane may look to preserve Bale for the weekend trip to Valencia however, with one eye on their El Clasico clash three days later at the Camp Nou.

Zidane has called up a number of the club's Castilla players for training this week, and with qualification for the last 16 already assured he could make sweeping changes to the team.

Alphonse Areola, Alvaro Odriozola and Luka Jovic could all start in Belgium, with Manu Hernando, Ayoub Abou and Diego Jurado all included in th provisional squad.
