Sevilla in the hunt for Oliver Torres

Sevilla's summer spending spree is set to continue, as they push for Porto's Oliver Torres.

According to reports in Portuguese newspaper Record de Portugal, sporting director Monchi is in line to complete the club's ninth transfer of the summer, with a €12m deal.

The 24-year old spent two seasons on loan with the Portuguese side, in 2014-15 and 2016-17, from Atletico Madrid, before moving permanently in 2017.

The Spanish U21 international is not a prolific goal scorer, however he has impressed in a creative role in midfield for Sergio Conceicao's side, winning the Primeira Liga title in 2017-18.

Torres' move to the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan would bring the club's summer purchases to over over €110m, following the signings of Jules Kounde, Diego Carlos, Lucas Ocampos, Fernando and Luuk de Jong.
