Real Betis considering bid move Liverpool’s Divock Origi

La Liga side Real Betis are considering a move for Liverpool forward Divock Origi.

According to weekend reports in Andalucian newspaper Estadio Deportivo, Rubi is set to make contact with the Champions League winners over the Belgian international.

Despite scoring the winning goals in both the Champions League semi final second leg against FC Barcelona, and in the final against Tottenham, he is reported to be a potential candidate for an exit from Anfield.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has previously indicated that he would be open to offers for the 24-year old, who is unlikely to receive more than a squad place at the club in 2019-20.

With his contract set to expire in June 2020, Klopp will want to make some money from the former Lille striker, however his current salary cold be an issue for Real Betis.

Currently his annual wage of €2.6m, with Liverpool, is beyond what they would be willing to pay for a player that would not be a guaranteed starter at the Estadio Benito Villamarin.

Also, Rubi is keen to bring Borja Iglesias from former side Espanyol, and he would represent a cheaper option than Origi in the current market.
