Barcelona fans talking about the treble – Marc-Andre Ter Stegen

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen admits the club’s fans are talking to him about the possibility of winning the treble this season.

Ernesto Valverde’s side are nine points clear at the top of La Liga while they are in the semi-finals of the Champions League and in the Copa del Rey decider against Valencia.

“Fans in the street are asking me about the treble,” Ter Stegen told an event, as cited by Diario Sport.

“We are happy to have Liverpool in the semi-finals, that will be a great game to be involved in but we know at this stage of the season anything can happen.

“These games are very important for the clubs and for the fans, but as players it makes us excited too.

“We know we still have to win three league games and this is our primary objective, this will not be straightforward.

“I’m the same off the pitch as I am on it – I am generally relaxed and I try to be normal, I like to go walking outside.”
