Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has called for caution in the La Liga title race, following their 1-0 El Clasico win at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday night.
La Blaugrana are now 12 points ahead of their arch rivals, with 12 league games to play, however the former Athletic Bilbao boss is not taking anything for granted at this stage.
"At no point do we consider Real Madrid to be dead in the title race, as there is still plenty of time left and they are capable of collecting a lot of points.
"There is also Atletico Madrid – and to dismiss them would be absurd.
"If we start losing games then Real Madrid are there also.
"Two wins at the Bernabeu does boost confidence, but we had an even bigger lead last season in La Liga and Real Madrid showed they can still win titles by winning the Champions League."
