Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted he wants former Chelsea teammate Eden Hazard to reunite with him in the Spanish capital.
Earlier this week, the Chelsea playmaker told RMC Sport that he had made a decision about his future with it widely reported he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge to join Los Blancos.
Hazard also recently said he ‘did not want any regrets’ on his career in the latest of a long-running line of hints that he would be open to a move to Madrid.
“This is his decision and I cannot say much about it,” Courtois told VTM Nieuws, as cited by Marca, when quizzed over Hazard’s future.
“But of course, I want to play with him at club level again, partly because he is a great player but also because he is my friend.
“If he came here (to Madrid) it would be good, but the decision is his.”
Courtois joined Madrid from Chelsea in a €40m deal this summer.
