Tottenham to make €50m offer for Barcelona’s Malcom

Tottenham are prepared to make a €50m move for out-of-favour Barcelona forward Malcom in January, according to Diario Sport.

The 21-year-old has yet to start for the Catalan giants since his €41m move from Bordeaux this summer, making just two substitute appearances thus far.

Earlier this week, two Italian news outlets – calciomeracto.com and CalcioNews24 – say his agents have contacted Italian giants Inter regarding a move.

The report states Spurs wanted to sign the Brazilian a year ago but Bordeaux were unwilling to sell at that point, but he is now thought to be available should Barca be able to make a profit.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele are among the attacking talents who Malcom is behind in Ernesto Valverde’s pecking order.

Inter and Arsenal have also been linked to the forward but the Catalan media outlet believe Spurs is his most likely destination should he exit the Camp Nou.
