Eden Hazard to use ‘Courtois plan’ for Real Madrid move

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard will use a similar ploy to that of Thibaut Courtois to clinch his desired move to Real Madrid, claim reports.

The attacking star’s former club and international teammate secured a €35m move to the European champions this summer as his contract entered its final year at Stamford Bridge.

A report in Marca claims the former Lille forward will adapt a similar plan to make the same trip from the English capital to its Spanish equivalent.

Hazard’s current deal at the West London side expires in 2020 and he has not yet agreed a contract extension, with his latest comments talking of a ‘dream’ move to Madrid.

Chelsea will not want to risk losing their star on a free but could be forced into negotiating an exit at a watered down price this summer in order to avoid such a scenario.
