Filipe Luis has explained how Atletico Madrid are ‘back into our groove’ after Tuesday night’s 3-0 victory over Huesca.
Los Rojiblancos have now won three consecutive games after away triumphs at Monaco and Getafe, while they face Real Madrid this weekend.
“We are now playing back into our groove,” Luis told reporters after the match, as cited by Marca.
“Now we are comfortable when we are both in and out of position and we are moving across the pitch as a unit.
“We are slowly returning to our best game by game, and now we are beginning to generate momentum by this little streak of winning games.
“It was not an easy start to the campaign because we had such high expectations but we were not at our best against difficult opposition.
“Now we are back on the path we want to be on.”
