La Liga Preview: Celta Vigo-Real Valladolid

Celta Vigo will be looking to stay in the top four with a return to winning ways against Real Valladolid on Saturday.

Celta boss Antonio Mohamed on more Emre Mor controversy and why he joined the club: “I’m here to talk about football, not sentimental things, I do enough of that with my children.

“When I decided to come to Europe, the first thing I wanted was for a club to get to know me and have a project.

“My dream was to be here. The contract I signed is worth half of what I earned before, but I came for the sporting challenge.

“It was a challenge, I wanted to know everything about it. In South America I’d peaked, here there isn’t one. It can be a springboard or a slide.”

Valladolid boss Sergio Gonzalez on his side’s performances and the threat posed by Celta: “We’ve done enough for a win.

“Barring the first game, we had more chances than Getafe and Barcelona, while we also had several against Alaves.

“We have to be faithful to our ideals and refine the defensive aspects to our game. Celta have used three systems so far, so we’ve worked on countering all three.

“Hopefully we’ll be clear and have important solutions, regardless of which one they use. They create chances against you, but I also think that you can against them.”
