Rayo Vallecano have agreed a season-long loan deal for Real Madrid striker Raul de Tomas, who helped the club to promotion last season.
De Tomas scored 24 goals for Rayo last season as the Madrid-based side won promotion back to La Liga and now looks set to return to Vallecas, according to multiple media reports.
Sporting CP were thought to hold a strong interest in the striker but the Spaniard is staying in Spain where he will link up with new midfielder Alvaro Garcia, who has been signed from Cadiz.
