Leganes have completed the season-long loan signing of Chelsea defender and Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo, it has been confirmed.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Turkish club Kasimpasa, before being selected for Nigeria's World Cup squad – having also appeared in the 2014 version.
The central defender has not made a competitive appearance for the Blues since joining from Standard Liege in 2012 and is Chelsea’s 32nd loan exit of the summer.
Omeruo, who has won 40 international caps, has previously had loan spells at ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Alanyaspor, alongside two separate spells at Kasimpasa.
