New Real Madrid signing Alvaro Odriozola is convinced the club will replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese has departed the Santiago Bernabeu for Juventus and right-back Odriozola -signed from Real Sociedad at the beginning of July for a reported €30m plus €5m in add-ons – believes Los Blancos are still the best team in the world and expects to see Ronaldo replaced in Julen Lopetegui’s line-up.
“I start to look at the squad and remember that this team won the Champions League just two months ago,” said the 22-year-old Spain international.
“For me this is the best club in the world and I’m certain we are going to replace Cristiano.”
