Rafa Mir joins Las Palmas on loan

Recently relegated Las Palmas have completed the season-long loan signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Rafa Mir.

Mir joined Wolves in January from Valencia in a €1.5m deal but was limited to just two substitute appearances in the Championship, totalling 29 minutes of action.

The move came to fruition due to the striker’s fine form for Valencia B this season, where he netted 15 goals in 19 appearances.

The Spaniard started pre-season with Nuno Espirito Santo's first team squad and scored goals against Basel and Young Boys during the tour of Switzerland.

Mir, who has four years remaining on his contract Molineux, will spend next season on loan at Estadio Gran Canaria.
