Barca offer Dembele plus cash for Hazard

Barcelona have made a cash plus Ousmane Dembele to land Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer, according to Onda Cero.

The report, which is cited in Diario Sport, claims the Catalan giants are willing to send the France international to Stamford Bridge in order to secure Hazard.

The Belgian playmaker is said to be a prime transfer target for Real Madrid this summer although HLN report the FA Cup winners are not willing to sell below a staggering €225m.

Dembele joined Barca last summer from Borussia Dortmund in an initial €105m deal but struggled with fitness and injury worries throughout his first season, making just 12 La Liga starts.

Hazard is a known admirer of former Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, while his father claimed he was pursuing a move to the European champions, with his Chelsea contract set to expire in 2020.

“After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to try something new,” he said after Belgium’s World Cup third-place playoff against England on Saturday, which his country won 2-0.

“After this World Cup, I can decide whether I want to stay or leave, but Chelsea will make the final decision, if they let me go.

“You already know my favourite destination. I’ve been linked with every club. It’ll be Bayern Munich next week…

“It makes me laugh. You already know my preference.”
