Valencia winger Nani wants to re-join Fenerbahce ahead of former club Sporting CP with a deal expected this window.
The 31-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Lazio, has played for a different side in each of the last five seasons – Manchester United, Sporting, Fenerbahce, Valencia and Lazio.
“Fenerbahce have not been a champion in recent years,” Nani told news agency DHA.
“I want to contribute to winning the title and being a part of it would be a real joy, obviously, right now I'm talking to the club.
“It would be great to be back in front of the Fenerbahçe fans. I want to be part of the team that wins the league.”
Superdeporte said that initial talks were with the Portuguese club but Los Che are keen to explore other options to speed up a move.
