Getafe have completed the signing of Mexican international central defender Oswaldo Alanis on a two-year deal, it has been confirmed.
The 29-year-old has spent the entirety of his career in his native country and joins Los Azulones following a stint at Guadalajara.
Alanis has won 21 caps for Mexico – including in last summer’s Confederations Cup – and has also previously played for Estudiantes Tecos and Santos Laguna.
He joins goalkeeper Leandro Chichizola and forwards Sergi Guardiola and Jaime Mata as summer arrivals at the Madrid-based club this summer.
