Yokuslu agrees Celta Vigo deal

Celta Vigo have reportedly agreed a five-year contract for Turkish international Okay Yokuslu in a deal said to be worth €7.5m.

The 24-year-old has won 11 caps for the Turkish national team and is primarily a deep-lying midfielder, with the indication that he will replace Stanislav Lobotka, who has been linked to Napoli.

BeIn Sports in Turkey report a deal has been struck and an announcement is imminent with Yokuslu expected to become their second signing of the summer following David Junca’s arrival from Eibar.

Lobotka is said to be subject of a €40m bid from Napoli while Yokuslu is said to be a physical holding midfielder, an international teammate of Celta’s Emre Mor, standing at 1.91m.

The Turk has played for three campaigns at Trabzonspor following a 2015 switch from Kayserispor.
