Alcacer wanted by Betis, Valencia

Real Betis may rival Valencia in the race to sign out-of-favour Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer, according to reports in Spain.

The 24-year-old joined the Catalan giants on a five-year contract from Los Che in 2016 in a €30m deal but has struggled for game time since, scoring 15 times in 50 appearances.

El Mundo Deportivo now report Betis are interest in a possible deal for the Spain international, with the potential of a summer exit for Antonio Sanabria.

Earlier this week, Onda Cero reported the striker has already begun to move out of his home in the Catalan capital to his previous residence in anticipation of a move back to Valencia.

Alcacer has fallen behind Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho in the pecking order at the Camp Nou, with Antoine Griezmann also rumoured to arrive this summer.
