Betis want Porto’s Oliver Torres

Real Betis have identified out-of-favour Porto midfielder Oliver Torres as a potential summer transfer, according to reports in Spain.

The 23-year-old made only eight starts in Portugal’s Primeira Division this season and Diario de Sevilla report he is on the shortlist for Betis, who will play in the Europa League next season.

Torres joined the Portuguese giants from Atletico Madrid in a €20m deal in 2017 but has fallen out of favour with current Coach Sergio Conceicao.

The report continues that the player would likely be open to such a move as he would like a return to Spain and more regular first-team football.

Torres made 54 first-team appearances for Atleti between 2012 and 2016 while he also spent a season on loan at Villarreal, before moving to Porto.

The report concludes that Dani Ceballos and Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez are also on the wanted list for Betis.
