Deportivo La Coruna defender Fabian Schar is the subject of interest from German club Hannover, according to reports.
El Desmarque cite a report in German outlet Sportbuzzer that the Swiss international is a leading candidate for the club to reinforce their defence, alongside Stoke City’s Kevin Wimmer and Cologne’s Yuya Osako.
Schar has netted two goals in 27 league appearances for Depor, having joined the club from Hoffenheim last summer and his contract contains a €4m release clause.
The reports continues that the 26-year-old would consider a return to the Bundesliga but has not ruled out a stay at the Riazor despite relegation to Spain’s second tier.
