Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has heaped praise on his Barcelona counterpart and Spain international teammate Andres Iniesta.
Speaking after his side’s 2-1 victory in the Champions League semi-final first leg at the Allianz Arena against Bayern Munich on Wendesday, the Madrid central defender spoke of Iniesta’s career.
“If he was called Andresinho instead of Iniesta, he would have won two Ballon d'Or titles,” Ramos is cited as saying by Cadena Cope.
The Barca midfielder is widely expected to confirm his departure from the club on Friday, with a move to a Chinese Super League club set to be announced.
