Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente admits Athletic Bilbao are his ‘home’ and a ‘return could happen’ if an offer is made.
The 33-year-old netted 118 goals across eight years at San Mames but has only scored five goals in 28 appearances for Spurs this season.
“Athletic Club are my home and if they make an offer, a return could happen,” Llorente is cited as saying by Marca.
“I enjoyed many wonderful moments at the club that I will never forget and Athletic will always hold a special place in my heart.
“If they do make me a proposal to come back, then I would have to think about it and yes, maybe it could happen.”
Llorente left Athletic in 2013 before enjoying two seasons with Juventus and one at each of Sevilla, Swansea City and now Spurs.
