Experienced Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has confirmed he will renew his contract at the club by a further 12 months.
The 33-year-old, he began his career at Real Madrid, has amassed over 300 appearances for Los Rojiblancos since a January 2011 move from Osasuna.
“Next year I will stay at Atletico…I will be renewing my deal,” Juanfran told Cadena Cope.
The right-back – who has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Atleti this campaign – is set to stay with the club until June 2019 at the earliest.
