Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez is facing ‘between two and three weeks on the sidelines’ after an injury in the Catalan Super Cup.
The 24-year-old went off injured in the first half of Wednesday’s clash with Espanyol with a Barca statement confirming he has suffered “a fibrillar tear in the adductor of the left leg.”
The news also added that the former Sevilla and Villarreal midfielder will be “out of action for between 15 and 20 days”.
Suarez has not made a first-team appearance for Barca in any of their last 12 competitive matches.
