Las Palmas Coach Paco Jemez believes the ‘only result good for us would be a victory’ against Celta Vigo, after a run of draws.
Los Amarillos have lost just one of their last five league outings but have drawn three of those matches, including each of the last two.
“There is only one result which would be good for us and that is to win the match,” Jemez told reporters at his pre-match press conference.
“We know Celta are a great team and they have the goal of qualifying for European football and they have a fantastic attack – the best partnership after Messi and Suarez.
“They are excellent in possession and will be a tough opponent but whilst it will demand a lot for us to win, we all believe we are capable of doing so.
“This is the best moment we have enjoyed since I arrived, as we are now in a position to fight for our lives and save our season.
“Calleri’s absence? It will not change our game-plan and we have alternatives to come in.”
