Madrid: Marcelo in, Ceballos out

Marcelo is back in Real Madrid’s squad for their visit of Getafe on Saturday, but Dani Ceballos is not included.

Marcelo has been out for the past fortnight with a hamstring injury, described as “very bad” by Madrid’s PR chief Emilio Butragueno, but he has been passed fit for the visit of Getafe.

However, Ceballos has been dropped, Marca reporting a “technical decision” as the reason for the young midfielder’s omission.

Luka Modric and Toni Kroos also remain absent and, according to the newspaper, are almost certain to miss Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Geta, meanwhile, will be without defender Juan Cala, who completed his transfer to Chinese club Henan Jianye on Thursday.

Madrid have won 15 of their last 16 League meetings with Los Azulones but did lose to them on home soil once, albeit back in February 2008.

Madrid squad for Getafe: Keylor, Casilla, Luca; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Theo, Casemiro, Marcos Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Kovacic; Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale, Vazquez, Mayoral
