Muntari signs Depor contract

Experienced Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has earned a contract with Deportivo La Coruna after a successful trial, say reports.

The 33-year-old had been incorporated into the Galician club’s training by new Coach Clarence Seedorf, who is familiar with the midfielder from his time at Milan.

A report from Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio now claims the midfielder will sign a contract with struggling Depor until the end of the campaign.

Muntari, who has won 84 international caps for Ghana, is most famed for his time in Italy, where he played for the Rossoneri alongside spells at Udinese, Inter and Pescara.

The midfielder won the Champions League at the Nerazzurri alongside two Serie A titles, and has also played for Portsmouth, Sunderland and Ittihad.

Depor lie second from bottom in La Liga and have lost both matches under Seedorf.
