Celta Vigo have confirmed a new and extended contract for Slovakian midfielder Stanislav Lobotka until June 2023.
The 23-year-old has made 24 La Liga appearances for the Galician side since joining from Danish club Nordsjaelland and has impressed at both club and international level for Slovakia.
The new deal will also see the midfielder’s release clause rise from €35m to €50m – which should ward off interest from Italian giants Inter, who were said to have lodged a bid last month.
Celta signed Lobotka in the summer in a deal reported to be worth €5m.
