Report: Betis to raid Madrid for duo

Real Betis are plotting moves for Real Madrid duo Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente this year, according to reports in the Spanish press.

Ceballos, 21, joined the Spanish and European champions from Betis last summer but has struggled for game-time since, making just two La Liga starts this campaign.

Both he and the Seville-based club were said to be exploring an option of returning in January, but La Liga rules ensured it could not be done this season with a view to returning again in summer.

Llorente is another option for Los Verdiblancos, according to Marca, and could even join the club now due to Zouhair Feddal’s injury creating the opportunity of an ‘emergency loan’.

Betis Coach Quique Setien has long-admired both players and has instructed the club to work on securing deals for both players in the coming months.
