Sevilla Coach Vincenzo Montella has praised ‘the ultimate winner’ in Jose Mourinho, whom he will face in the Champions League next week.
The Italian believes the Manchester United boss is the best in the world and is the counterpart whom he admires the most above all others.
“Mourinho is the ultimate winner, more than any other Coach,” Montella told reporters, as quoted by ABC de Sevilla.
“It takes a lot of time to get into the minds of players and maximise their potential, their togetherness and work ethic, but he does it.
“If I had to choose one Coach in the world it would be Mourinho…I’ve had many great bosses in my career but the one I would have liked to have worked under would be his orders.
“When I started my coaching career, I tried to see his methods and sessions.”
