Espanyol resigned to Aaron Martin sale

Espanyol are resigning themselves to accepting the sale of in-demand defender Aaron Martin this year, according to reports in Spain.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Napoli have all been linked with the Spain youth international, who has started 22 La Liga matches this campaign.

Last month, Diario Sport reported Los Periquitos rejected an €18m offer from RB Leipzig for the full-back, who is said to have a €30m release clause at the RCDE Stadium.

The 20-year-old left-back has enjoyed a sharp rise to prominence for the Catalan club and Spain’s Under-21 side, with Marca now reporting the club are accepting the inevitability of a sale and are now set to cash-in.
