Malaga Coach Jose Gonzalez has come out fighting despite losing to relegation rivals Las Palmas, stating “this team will never give up.”
The Andalucians are now four points adrift at the foot of the table after Alen Halilovic netted a last minute winner for Los Amarillos in Monday night’s action.
“We need points, this is obvious, but one thing about this side is that we will never give up,” Gonzalez told Malaga’s media team.
“We have reason for optimism and our new arrivals will improve and settle in as time goes on, so we must keep working towards these aims.
“Football can be very tough at times and this was one of those occasions, we could have gone a goal up but again we did not do well enough in front of goal, just like Eibar.
“We have to keep fighting and never give up on our objectives.”
