Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa has passed his medical tests at Sevilla ahead of joining the club on loan, according to reports in Spain.
The 28-year-old looks set to join Los Rojiblancos this week with El Desmarque reporting the deal should be completed on Monday following the successful examinations.
The deep-lying midfielder only joined the Premier League club this summer in a €12.5m deal from Las Palmas, but he has started in only nine top flight matches so far this campaign.
Sevilla also look set to complete the signing of full-back Miguel Layun from FC Porto this week.
