Getafe ask for Remy loan deal

Getafe have made Las Palmas aware of their interest in out-of-favour striker Loic Remy as a January exit looks increasingly likely, say reports.

The Frenchman only joined the islanders from Chelsea last summer and is their top scorer with six goals in 13 appearances.

However, the 30-year-old does not figure in the plans of new boss Paco Jemez, who hinted at disciplinary problems with the player earlier this month.

Now Marca report the Madrid-based club want to loan the former Newcastle and Chelsea striker for the remainder of the campaign, although Los Amarillos don’t wish to see him to go to a league rival.

Levante are another Spanish side who have been linked with Remy, who has also had interest from Turkey.
