Sturridge wants Sevilla move

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge would prefer a move to Sevilla ahead of Inter or staying in a non-playing role at Anfield.

A report in the Daily Mirror states the England international has ‘urged’ his current club to open negotiations with the Andalucian club, with a move possible this month.

The 28-year-old has strongly been linked with a move to Inter, with Milan and Valencia also said to be interested in the £25m-rated (€30m) striker.

However, the report goes on to say the Merseyside club would be willing to negotiate a loan deal with a compulsory purchase option for the summer included.
