Valencia Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral has admitted he wants to sign Goncalo Guedes permanently but it is not his ultimate decision.
The Portuguese winger joined Los Che on a season-long loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain in summer and is reportedly available to buy on a permanent basis in a €35m deal.
“I would sign him and I want him here permanently, but that’s not my job,” Marcelino is quoted as saying by Diario AS.
“He is a fantastic player with lots of potential still to come, he is a joy to Coach and he is a good teammate for all our players and he works very hard.
“But my information on the club signing him is that I do not have information!”
The 21-year-old has scored three goals in 10 league starts at the Mestalla and has been widely lauded for his performances.
