Japanese international midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi has joined La Liga 123 side Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has completed his move from Gamba Osaka to English Championship club Leeds United but will join the second tier Spanish side in order to gain a work permit.
“As the J1 League ended in early December, it is likely that Leeds United will loan Ideguchi out to Cultural Leonesa until the end of the season should the player pass his medical,” read a statement from Leeds on Thursday morning.
Cultural later confirmed the deal for Ideguchi, who made his international debut in November 2016 and has scored twice in 10 caps for Japan.
