Zidane: Signings? Anything can happen…

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has not ruled out the club making signings in the January transfer window by stating ‘anything can happen’.

The French tactician was speaking after being questioned on a possible move for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper and Spain international Kepa Arrizabalaga, with whom Madrid have been heavily linked.

“We only think about our own players and Kepa is not a Madrid player, so it is simple,” Zidane told a press conference on Wednesday.

“I discuss everything with the president (Florentino Perez) and yes maybe that was also about reinforcements.

“But we have not signed anyone at  the moment, although anything can happen until the end of January.

“Anything is possible, we might sign somebody but we do not want any exits from this squad and I am happy with the players who are here.

“Defeat in El Clasico was tough to take but this club will fight to bounce back.”
