Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has held a meeting with Manchester City representatives to discuss the club, according to reports.
The French central defender has a €60m release clause in his contract at the Camp Nou and a report in L’Equipe outlines how he met with officials of the Premier League leaders.
Sources close to the player state he wants to have time to reflect on the situation and not rush into any decision, which would not be expected until the summer at the earliest.
Previous reports in the Catalan press had suggested the Catalan giants were keen to offer the 24-year-old a new deal to ward off interested clubs who could activate his clause.
The Frenchman is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and around a month away from returning.
