Pastore’s ‘last game’ for PSG

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have been put on alert by Javier Pastore’s agent confirming he could have played his last game for Paris Saint-Germain.

The playmaker started in Wednesday night’s cup clash with Caen, but shortly before kick-off his agent agent Marcelo Simonian was quoted in a tweet from a Foot Mercato journalist as stating: “tonight could be his last match (for PSG).”

Atleti and Sevilla are two clubs to have been strongly linked to the Argentinean, while Inter have also been speculated to make a move.

The 28-year-old moved to Paris from Palermo in a landmark €43m deal in 2011 but has featured in fewer than half of the side’s Ligue 1 matches in each of the past two seasons.

PSG are keen for a sale to meet their UEFA Financial Fair Play regulations and are keen on such an arrangement to be struck as soon as possible.

Pastore has netted 48 times in his six-year stint at the club.
