Preview: La Real-Malaga

Sunday’s early kick-off pairs two of La Liga’s most off-colour sides in Real Sociedad and Malaga.

Malaga boss Michel Gonzalez on the threat posed by La Real: “La Real are a very good team.

“I’d like my team to train like they do and always gave the feeling of playing like Eusebio’s side do.

“They suffer defensively because they’re a team that are sometimes lose their shape in attack, but that’s where they've done the most damage.

“Eusebio’s work is making Real a very recognisable and formidable team. They’re extremely dangerous and attacking.”

La Real boss Eusebio Sacristan on his side’s run of poor form: “In principle, undoubtedly it affects us and has taken its toll on us a bit.

“But when you analyse things in depth, you’ll see the situation is what it is and that we have to persevere with what we’re doing and fix what we’re not doing well.

“We want to flip the switch and get back to winning, and we have the opportunity to do it.”
