‘Aubameyang? Not good enough for Madrid!’

Borussia Dortmund Coach Peter Bosz has joked Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang isn’t good enough for Real Madrid. ‘I hope he stays…’

Madrid host Dortmund in the final round of Champions League group games having been repeatedly linked to the Gabon international forward, and Bosz was asked at a pre-match Press conference if the player was on the level of Los Blancos.

“He’s a lousy player, very bad, not good enough for Madrid…I’m joking, I’m saying that so he’ll stay with us. He’s excellent and has the quality for Madrid, but I hope he stays,” Bosz replied, AS reports, before being asked for his observations on the current state of Wednesday’s opposition.

“If they’re in crisis, where are we? I don’t think they’re in crisis. In our last game against them they arrived worse than us and they played a great game,” he recalled.

“I don’t think their squad is worse than last year. They’ll improve and they will end up playing very well.”
