Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has played down a supposed disagreement between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo earlier this season.
The defender told media in November that Ronaldo’s suggestions that the squad were weaker this season than their last campaign were wide of the mark.
“Nothing happened with Cristiano and me,” Ramos told TV Espana, as quoted by ESPN.
“We've always been great friends. We both have a lot of character, and different opinions, but we are rowing in the same direction.
“A draw like this (0-0 at Athletic Bilbao) is a crisis here (at Madrid), we must remain calm and confident and go from objective to objective.
“Maybe it has not been the best start to a season in history but we are still up there fighting for all the trophies.”
