Barca in for Koulibaly?

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has once again been linked with a move to Barcelona by fresh reports in both Spain and Italy.

The speculation comes in the aftermath of Samuel Umtiti facing two months out for the Catalan club while Javier Mascherano – also injured – could reportedly leave as early as January.

This leaves Ernesto Valverde’s side short in defensive cover and reports in Il Mattino and Fichajes, net state the Senegalese international, valued at €60m, is a prime target.

Koulibaly initially joined Napoli from Genk in 2014 and has played a central role in helping them to be among the title contenders in Italy this season, with previous reports in Diario Sport and El Mundo Deportivo linking him to the Blaugrana.

English quarter Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have previously been linked to the 26-year-old.
