Irish striker Kurtis Byrne looks set to join La Liga 123 side Reus next season after a short-term move to Linfield, according to reports.
The 27-year-old is currently a free agent having left St. Patrick’s Athletic and will join the Northern Irish champions in January, with the Spanish side reportedly keen on a deal this summer, according to The Irish Sun.
The former Irish youth international previously played for Hibernian and Ross County in Scotland before moving back to Ireland in 2013, where he played for Dundalk and Bohemians before joining St. Pat’s.
Byrne is the son of former Celtic and Southend striker Paul, while Catalan side Reus are currently 12th in Spain’s second tier.
