Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu believes the club has ‘opportunities’ to sign players in the January transfer window.
The Catalan giants have been linked to a number of players in summer including Philippe Coutinho, Mesut Ozil, Leon Goretzka and Inigo Martinez.
“We are happy with our squad but we believe we can improve in January,” Bartomeu told the Catalan Sports award ceremony this week.
“We think there will be opportunities to improve and strengthen in the winter market and as we are Barca, we always have to look for ways to improve.
“We want to win every trophy we are in – La Liga, Copa Del Rey, the Champions League – and perhaps the squad needs a little more to achieve such a feat.
“I’m not the most important person in this regard, as we have (sport manager) Pep Segurda, (sporting director) Robert Fernandez and Oscar Grau.”
